A massive search and rescue effort was mobilized on the mountain after a group of 4 hikers failed to report to the national park HQ. What was thought as another mundane S&R by the rangers dragged on for months with no sign of respite. It wasn't until a film camera was recovered by a team of searchers sweeping a designated quadrant that they felt they had a major breakthrough after months of hitting dead ends. They hoped the camera could give clues to their disappearance. The forensics lab submitted a number of photographs that gave the S&R team clues of their last whereabouts. But it wasn't until they saw photograph No. 27 and 28, the last 2 photos taken on the 14th of June, that they decided to close the case with no further follow ups. They now know what had happened to the 4 hikers who went missing 6 months ago... or at least, whatever was responsible for their disappearance.
