Celestial Loom

Artwork for Project Aurora's 9th exhibit, with the theme: FREESTYLE
Part of my Megastructure series for this release. A structure that literally weaves or prints entire celestial bodies into existence via loom-like mechanisms. It is modular by design and its superstructures can interchange in different configurations in order to accommodate the creation of bodies of varying size and mass. It can be moved across vast distances via space folding. The loom is a relic of an advanced ancient race of god-like builders long extinct. Some say the loom's creative functions can be reversed and utilized for destructive means, powerful enough to obliterate entire star systems.
